Il rapporto del cambio tra le due biciclette utilizza una filosofia diversa, la bici in alto ha un elevata variazione tra i pignoni, mentre le corone non variano in modo significativo, in questa configurazione si utilizza il cambio principalmente tramite i pignoni, mentre le corone vengono utilizzate principalmente per il tipo di utilizzo della bicicletta quali pianura, salita o salita molto ripida.
