Français : En 2018, un nouveau projet d'architecture de prestige (le futur hôtel "Trinité") voit le jour avec la restructuration de l'ancien siège de la Banque populaire de l'Ouest (BPO), entre la place des Lices et la rue de la Monnaie et qui borde toute la façade sud de la place.
Plusieurs bâtiments occupant une superficie de 12 000 m2 sont en chantier en vue d'y installer un hôtel de grand luxe qui deviendra le plus grand du centre-ville de Rennes avec tous les équipements qui conviennent désormais à un tel bâtiment de prestige : restaurants, bars (dont l'un panoramique, posé sur le toit), piscine, spa... La physionomie du bâtiment longeant la place au nord de la halle sera notablement modifiée avec l'apparition d'une grande verrière (qui abritera un bar) à la place de l'ancien toit en ardoise. Le projet, controversé, a cependant pu être élaboré avec l'accord de l'architecte des Bâtiments de France et devrait ouvrir ses portes fin 2020. |
