| Description | Op 19 januari 2015 kwam de (voorlopig) laatste locomotief van de bestelling (E186 019) aan. De TRAXX locomotieven van HSA worden door de NS in combinatie met Intercityrijtuigen ingezet in de treindiensten Amsterdam-Breda (Intercity Direct). De treindienst tussen Amsterdam en Brussel wordt uitgevoerd door locomotieven van de serie HLE 28 (Bombardier) van NMBS, maar het komt voor dat de locomotieven van NS voor vervanging zorgen. Daarnaast verzorgen de Traxx-locomotieven namens NS de tractie in de City Night Line en vervangen zij regelmatig de locomotief 1700 in de Intercity naar Berlijn. Tekst: Wikipedia. |
