Description
English: At the site of this plaque, now in the community of Suganash Chicago Illinois, The Treaty of Chicago was signed between the United States Government and the Three Fires nations of the region. The First Nations were represented by Billy Caldwell (Chief Sauganash). Ultimately, the treaty led to the removal of the nations from the reserve land in 1835.
