The Treaty to resolve pending boundary differences and maintain the Rio Grande and Colorado Rivers as the International boundary between the United States of America and the United Mexican States, signed November 23 1970.

The straight line markers, determined from GNATT 1968, placed inland at Lat N25* 57' 13.30", Long 97* 9' 59.12" (South of River), Lat N25* 57" 19.22", Long W97* 8' 52.88" (North of River),

From the center of the mouth of the Rio Grande River, wherever it may be located, And runs in a straight line[1] to a fixed point at Lat N25* 57' 22.18", Long W97* 8' 19.76" (Maritime Marker),

Thence, following the 'Int'l Maritime Boundary - Great Circle Line' fixed at Lat N25* 57' 22.18", Long W97* 8' 19.76", to seaward 12 nautical miles (22 kilometers) at a fixed point,

Lat N25* 58' 30.57", Long W96* 55' 27.37", which is the INTERNATIONAL MARITIME BOUNDARY IN THE GULF OF MEXICO
