| Description |
English: Tree Surgery, Omagh This was of interest to me as it was the location of the old playground of the Model Primary School in which I was a pupil, until I left to go the higher up school in the mid 1950's. We used to gather conkers under the chestnut trees here. The elevated path has been risen up to the height of the retaining wall from the lower level of ground on the left. I had noticed one of the old trees which showed signs of deterioration for some time and there had been an incident during the construction of the new foot-bridge when a limb had fallen near to where men were working. |
