View On Black

This nice tree was on the cliff, facing the sea. That was a very peacefull vue in the morning of a new nice day from my hotel room.

With the low tide approaching, we can see the surfacing brown "rocks" surrounding some parks of mussels. (see map)

I composed the photo to avoide seeing the horizon. The idee was to be immersed only on the land, tree and sea. The lighting, contrasts and saturation were also adapted.

That was during my summer holidays of 2005 and taken with my good old bridge camera.
