Summary
editDescriptionTrent and Mersey Canal at Fradley Junction - geograph.org.uk - 1562353.jpg |
English: Trent and Mersey Canal at Fradley Junction. The Coventry Canal joins the Trent and Mersey from the right, opposite the distant buildings. The renowned Swan Inn is in the middle of the row of early 19th century wharf-side buildings. Boats here are often moored side by side as well as on the non towpath side of the canal. This can make it quite difficult for two boats to pass each other between the locks, especially for inexperienced hire boat navigators. Fradley Junction is a gongoozler's paradise (pub as well as entertainment at the lock by the junction). |
