English: Tri Phennog - Three Herrings. This was previously a public house, Tŷ Cerrig (Nanhoron Arms), but is now a private residence. The three herrings were the arms of the Borough of Nefyn, a sign of the town's importance as a major herring-fishing port. The Nanhoron Arms now occupies much grander premises see 357935
