Summary

Description
English: Trinitarian monastery, Adare. This is one of 3 monasteries in Adare. This was founded in 1230 and dedicated to St James. What attracted me to these buildings was the monochrome greyness of the stone, which not only gives it an 'Irish' appearance, but also a haunting feeling.
