Summary edit

Description Introduced, warm season, annual or biennial, erect or ascending herb 15–100 cm tall. Lower leaves are usually 3-pinnatisect and feathery; cauline leaves reduce in size and are less segmented. Flowerheads are corymbs of few to many heads. heads are convex to conical and 3–5 cm diam.; ray florets number about 12 an are ligulate and white; disc florets are tubular and yellow. Flowering is in spring and summer. A native of Europe and Asia, it grows in waste places, especially roadsides, in the Guyra-Glen Innes, Sydney, and Mudgee areas.
