Summary edit

Description
English: Tron Kirk The original parish kirk for Edinburgh took its name from the 'tron', the weighing-machine that stood nearby to check that market traders were using genuine weights. A disastrous fire in 1824 burned down the entire block on the south side of the High Street above the Tron. The spire was rebuilt in 1828. After functioning in recent times as an information centre, the kirk is currently closed and its future has yet to be determined. http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Tron_Kirk
