DescriptionTrun.Antonin.Kaspar.2018.Praha. Vysehrad.A.jpg |
Dílo vzniklo v roce 2016 a o dva roky později jej autor doplnil třemi reliéfními nápisy (Třemi tázacími větami. Jedna z nich zní: „What did you do, pope?“).
English: Throne: One of the great metal sculptures from the sculptor workshop of academic sculptor Antonín Kašpar (* 4 March 1954, Prague) was exhibited at the International Sculpture Festival (13 June 2018 to 30 September 2018) at Vyšehrad, Prague. The work was created in 2016 and two years later, the author completed it with three embossed inscriptions (Three sentences, one of it is: "What did you do, pope?"). In essence, the work can be briefly described as a monumental steel four-legged installation in the form of a "chair for the giant", which has a symbolic cross in place of the "backrest". The cross finds himself in Kašpar's sculpture quite often not only as a religious symbol, but also as a intersection of two lines: the expressions Jing and Jang, I - You, Ona - He, and so on. |
