Español: Las figuras de carnaval Tschäggätä recorren el remoto Lötschental en el Cantón de Valais, Suiza, durante varias semanas en febrero, asustando a los habitantes. El disfraz consiste en máscaras de pino de piedra suizo, pieles de oveja o de cabra y campanas de vaca.
English: The Tschäggätä carnival figures wander through the remote Lötschental in the canton of Valais, Switzerland, for several weeks in February, scaring the population. The costumes consist of masks made of Swiss stone pine, sheep or goat skins and cowbells.
Deutsch: Die Tschäggätä-Fasnachtsfiguren treiben im abgelegenen Lötschental im Kanton Wallis, Schweiz, während mehreren Wochen im Februar durch die Dörfer und jagen den Bewohnern Angst ein. Die Verkleidung besteht aus Masken aus Arvenholz, Schaf- oder Ziegenfelle sowie Kuhschellen.
Français : Les figures du carnaval de Tschäggätä circulent pendant plusieurs semaines en février dans le Lötschental, une région éloignée dans le canton du Valais, en Suisse, et effraient les habitants. Le déguisement consiste en des masques faits de pin de pierre suisse, de peaux de mouton ou de chèvre et de cloches de vache.
