Português: Tucano-toco ou Tucanuçu. Os tucanos são, junto com as araras e papagaios, um dos símbolos mais marcantes das aves do continente sul-americano. Seu colorido, o formato e tamanho do bico chamam a atenção com facilidade, tornando-os inconfundíveis. O tucanuçu é o maior deles, vivendo em todo o Brasil central e partes da Amazônia. No Pantanal está a sua maior população, podendo ser encontrado até no interior das cidades, em rápidas visitas a pomares e árvores com frutos.
