English: Tudball's Splats Seen on the 1:25000 OS map, this old field enclosure stands out on the open moor. The photograph shows the remains of three of what were formerly beech hedgerows. This small area of land, 200x140 m, was shown as Access Land before the CROW Act, though to date I have been unable to discover who dedicated it, who Tudball was, or what a "Splat" is. |
