Norsk bokmål: Tungenes fyr ble opprettet i 1828 av Stavanger Havnekommisjon med bidrag fra byens skipsredere og handelsstand. Fyret ble overtatt av Fyrvesenet i 1860, etter vedtak i Stortinget. Tungenes fyr var fra 1862 en familiestasjon, de senere år med tre familier bostatt på området. I 1984 ble stasjonen avfolket og nedlagt.
