English: Turbines at Trysglwyn. One of several wind turbines at this windfarm near Parys Mtn. They are quite impressive "beasts" and it requires some nerve to approach the structure without ducking as one goes under the blades! In my opinion they can fit in quite well and even add to the attraction of a view, but there are obviously places where they shouldn't appear. Those I've seen (here, off the coast at Rhyl and one or two other sites) have all looked ok to me. I do realise we'd need many, many more to satisfy our demand for power - and still need other means of generation for back-up. There's no such thing as a free lunch - yet. Fingers crossed!
