60iger Stein
Dieser Stein stand viele Jahrzehnte am steilsten Straßenstück der Bundesstraße Nr. 95 genau 60 km von Klagenfurt entfernt.
Für sehr viele Autofahrer–Einheimische und Gäste war und ist dieses Steilstück, genannt der „Sechziger“, in besonderer Erinnerung. So mancher hat im Winter bei Eisglätte und Schnee an dieser Stelle das Fürchten gelernt. Es gab Blechschäden ohne Zahl, auch schwere Unfälle mit tödlichem Ausgang.
Vor 10 Jahren wurde dieser gefährliche Streckenabschnitt auf Initiative der Turracher Bewohner entschärft und die jetzige schön angelegte und sichere Umfahrung errichtet.
Der Kilometerstein, der dieser Strecke den Namen gab, steht nun als Erinnerung hier neben den 60er Brunnen an der Landesgrenze Kärnten/ Steiermark.
