Español: El Ministerio de Defensa informa que las aeronaves DCH-6 Twin Otter pertenecientes a la Fuerza Aérea Argentina culminaron con éxito el vuelo histórico que unió por primera vez las bases antárticas argentinas Marambio y Belgrano 2, la más austral de nuestro país.
En el marco de la denominada Operación Polar –coordinada por el Comando Conjunto Antártico dependiente del Comando Operacional de las Fuerzas Armadas- el 9 de febrero se dio inicio a esta travesía cuyo objetivo es generar un puente aéreo para brindar apoyo a ese punto geográfico aislado donde vive durante todo el año un reducido grupo de personas. |
