Joe Turner died in 2002 and in 2003 Devon County Council commissioned a sculpture by Peter Randall-Page to celebrate the vision of Joe Turner who created the Two Moors Way route for all to enjoy. The sculpture is a bit further along the path to Drewsteignton on the edge of Dartmoor National Park.
