English: Two solutions to this ancient problem, one of area and the other of distance. Both solutions provided by the sacred geometry that exists between the earth and moon. If one were to walk around the earth and moon you would have walked the same distance as the square that encloses the earth or the circle with earth as center and center of moon as circumference. They are all equal in distance.and this can be proven using common string. If one were to expand the square enclosing the earth to a rectangle enclosing the moon the area of that rectangle is equal to the area of the circle going through the moon. Using Euclid's axioms a square can be generated that is equal in area to that circle and the rectangle. This can be proven using only colored water. If numbers (English miles) are inserted a host of relationships appear including a relationship with time and distance. This is all done in a finite number of steps using only graph paper, compass and straightedge. I am using 22/7 for Pi because it is earth commensurate which can be shown. There are many religious references to this diagram. Plato might have called it the Pattern that Connects. Carl Jung indicated that the unity of square and circle reveals the unity between God and man. A great deal more could be said. |
