English: Tyne Café, the less touristy face of Alston The Tyne café lies on the main road below the main part of the town and clearly the tourist visitors preferred the town centre with its steep cobbled street and photogenic buildings. Down here, decrepitude has set in in a big way, with not just the café closed and derelict, but a selection of rusting minibuses to add to the atmosphere of decay. |
