Description

Typical Belgrade house in 1919

Original caption
This view shews a portion of a typical street on the slope of the town, leading down to the Sava. Each two windows represent a separate tenement, one being particularly well known to me, as, on arrival at Belgrade, it was the only place where I could find sleeping accomodation.
