Description
English: The stone - decroated with the relief of a rosette, palm leaves and garland - that marked the start and finish line of the Roman Hippodrome in Tyre, now Lebanon. Built in the second century CE it is the largest (480m long and 160m wide) and best-preserved hippodrome after the one in Rome.
