English: Map from 1800 focusing on the Prince-Bishopric of Trent inside the southern Tyrol. It shows the serpentine border (including enclaves) separating the Prince-Bishopric from the Austrian County of Tyrol, which almost entirely encircled Trent. The bishopric was to be secularized in 1803 and its territory eventually absorbed into the rest of the Austrian Tyrol. Published by Homann Heirs (Homann Erben) in 1800. |
