Merknad: Kartet kommer uten forklaring til nummereringen og fargemarkeringene, men en god del av leirene på kartet er nærmere beskrevet i Strinda Bygdebok bd. III (Trondheim 1948) s. 114 - 152.

En mulig forklaring til fargeangivelsene er at de angir nye eierforhold etter krigen (kommunale / statlige / militære?) - men her er vi på gyngende grunn og hører gjerne på deres forslag. Kan de svarte bygningene markere murbygg / bunkerser?

Nr. 1 Strindheim leir (Bromstad, gnr. 13 bnr. 1): Ca. 120 mål rekvirert og utbygd mesteparten. Ca. 45 mål utbygget til brakker. Resten permanente hus. En stor bunkers oppført på eiendommen. Ialt var nesten 200 mål beslaglagt. I de brakker som var oppført på eiendommen, bodde tyskere, danske arbeidere (Organisation Todt) og en lang tid russiske fanger. I den russiske fangeleiren var en tid opp i mot 700 fanger.

Nr. 105 "Nordblitz": Ubåtflåtens værvarslingsstasjon og HQ til Admiralen for operasjonsområdet mellom Stadt og Bodø.
