Description

Two of three eastern (6th Avenue) entrances to the main banking room of the U.S. National Bank Building, in Portland, Oregon, at a time of day when the bank was open for business. The central entrance, at right, has large bronze-paneled doors that are out of view when the bank is open (they slide to the side), but decorative bronze above the glass doors there – including an eagle and shield – becomes visible at such times. The entrance at left has a revolving door.
