English: An external view of UPS Airlines Flight 1307 after the extinguishment of the cargo fire that gutted the aircraft following its landing at Philadelphia International Airport. Note the areas of burnthrough in the upper portion of the center-to-aft fuselage. The flightcrew of this cargo flight received their first warning of smoke in the main-deck cargo hold while descending towards Philadelphia, and were able to land and evacuate without serious injury. |
