Summary edit

Description September 2017. Simeo Ntawuruhunga received a cow from the Nkuringo Community Conservation and Development Foundation (NCCDF) as part of their heifer program. He breeds the cow, keeps the calf thus starting to build his herd, and passes the original cow to the next in line in the heifer program. He now has 6 cows producing milk he can sell locally. Bulls when born are sold for meat. Nkuringo, Uganda. Photograph by Jason Houston for USAID
