Description

blog.usaid.gov The Love a Child Village is an orphanage and school run by a U.S. faith-based organization that became a disaster recovery medical center for hundreds of earthquake victims. These photos capture some of the first post-op patients from the USNS Comfort who were transferred to the area.

Transfer: On January 31, 2010, three post-operative patients who were treated on the USNS Comfort were transferred to the Love A Child Village to open space for Haitians who need more critical attention.
