An early USGS vertical control marker, apart of the NOGLS (Nogales) datum, located along I-10 near Red Rock, Arizona. The marker was placed in 1903.

Description
English: This is a top down picture of an early USGS vertical control marker pipe cap, apart of the NOGLS (Nogales) datum, located just east of the Union Pacific "Gila Subdivision" line, I-10, and the Casa Grande Highway (I-10 frontage road), which used to be AZ 84. The marker is just south of Red Rock, Arizona. The marker is at a section corner, with the section corner marker only a few feet away from the USGS marker. The marker was placed in 1903.
