English: A LITENING pod -- self-contained, multi-sensor laser target-designating and navigation system -- hangs from under the wing of a Marine Attack Squadron 211 AV-8B Harrier at the South Combat Arms Loading Area Dec. 11. The Agile Lion demonstration integrated hardware already used by the Marine Corps, such as the enhanced position location reporting system, or EPLRS narrow-band radio, and aircraft-borne LITENING pods with gear from NGC and related corporations which was necessary to establish the battlefield network and connect all the players of the demonstration's scenarios. |
