English: A U.S. Marine with 3rd Battalion, 5th Marine Regiment, sorted through backpacks filled with school supplies for the Iraqi children while in Fallujah, Iraq, Feb. 5. The Marines, Sailors and Soldiers with 3/5, conducted one of the largest humanitarian assistance efforts for the citizens of Fallujah during a civil military operation, handing out more than $15,000 of donated supplies. People in the United States donated backpacks along with other needed supplies to help make the operation possible. A seven-ton truck along with several other humvees were filled with non-perishable foods, clothing, linen, school supplies, medical supplies, hygiene supplies, candies, toys, and sewing machines, to hand out to the Iraqi people.
