English: Legendary NFL quarterbacks Dan Marino and Boomer Esiason took time to greet the Marines from the Parris Island Marine Band in the lobby of the Westin Hotel in Pittsburgh, Sunday. Marino and Esiason were part of the CBS NFL Today broadcasting team that covered the AFC Championship game between the Pittsburgh Steelers and the New England Patriots. The Marines from Marine Corps Recruit Depot Parris Island, S.C., performed during the championship game's pre-game and half time shows at Heinz Field. The Patriots beat the Steelers 41-27 and advance to the Super Bowl on Feb. 6. The game was also televised live to Marines in Fallujah, Iraq. |
