Description
English: Cpl. Korey M. Lewis (left) and LCpl. Erica J. Ratz, field radio operators with the command element of the 24th Marine Expeditionary Unit, provide shore-to-ship communication support during the Amphibious Squadron 8 / 24th MEU Integration Training exercise (PMINT) Oct. 31, 2011. The command element communications section provided Communication Support Teams (CST) on Onslow Beach, Camp Lejeune, N.C., to ensure Marines were able to communicate effectively from land-based operations to the amphibious assault ships USS Iwo Jima, USS New York and USS Gunston Hall during onload and offload operations throughout PMINT.
