Description
English: WASHINGTON – “It’s a wonderful feeling, you don’t think about yourself. I’m doing this for the wounded that can’t do it for themselves. You can’t pay me money for this, it’s the best job in the world,” said South. South was wounded November 2004 and spent a long recovery process to reconstruct his face and jaw after being shot in the face with an AK-47. Veterans of Valor visited Bethesda Naval Hospital and Walter Reed Army Medical Center January 17 to give backpacks and words of encouragement to wounded service members. Photo by Staff Sgt. Leo A.
