Description
English: AMIRIYAH, Iraq - Marines assigned with Bravo Company, 2nd Assault Amphibian Battalion, 2nd Marine Division, use assault amphibian aehicles to block a roadway during Operation Southern Fire Aug. 25. The mission kicked off in the early morning hours of Aug. 25 and 26 with coalition forces sealing off the town of Amiriyah and the settlement known as Ferris Town in Al Anbar province in efforts to establish a permanent presence of Iraqi police and army and in preparation for upcoming elections.
