Headquarters Company supports staff functions, such as intelligence, supply logistics, medical, legal and more within Combat Logistics Battalion 3. CLB-3 is currently forward-deployed to combat for the first time in its short history as the Marine Corps' youngest battalion. The battalion serves as the logistics combat element of Special Purpose Marine Air Ground Task Force, Afghanistan, which is here to support the Government of the Islamic Republic of Afghanistan in its efforts to provide security and services to the Afghan people. Burgos and Chavez are supply warehousemen. Both are assigned to Headquarters Co., CLB-3. |
