English: Christopher Slaught, 13, sprints the final stretch of the 2nd ever U.S. Marine Corps Forces, Special Operations Command, Cross Country Mud Run on Stone Bay, April 3. More than 400 service members and civilians participated in the MARSOC Mud Run, which was open to the public. The run spanned more than 4 miles and took participants over hills and through muddy forest trails on Stone Bay. Awards for 1st through 3rd place finishers were given out to more than 50 categories ranging from team competitions to categories based on age and gender. The run was part of the Marine Corps Grand Prix Series. |
