Description
English: Faye Jonason, the history and museums officer for the Consolidated Public Affairs Office, Howard Mason and Frank Torres, both Korean War veterans and members of the Colonel William E. Barber Chosin Few Chapter of Orange County, pose Oct. 13 at the Scout Newspaper office with a poster of the 1952 Warner Bros. movie �Retreat Hell.� Mason and Torres are among some 3000 members of the Chosin Few organization, which is a brotherhood dedicated to paying homage to the men who fought and fell on the "Frozen Chosin" battlefield along with honoring those who survived. The Chosin Few has 50 chapters nationwide. The Colonel William E. Barber chapter held its annual Inchon Landing Commemorative Luncheon at Sharkey's Hotel on Del Mar Beach here Sept. 17.
