Description |
The United States Revenue Cutter, Commodore Perry, on Maumee Bay around 1870. Built at Buffalo, New York in 1864, it was stationed at Erie, Pennsylvania. In 1884 it was sold to the Buffalo and Lake Erie Excursion company where it was rebuilt into a passenger steamer and renamed Periwinkle. It was sold in 1896 to George Fletcher of Toledo.
