Description
English: The U.S. Navy destroyer USS Allen M. Sumner (DD-692) at the San Francisco Naval Shipyard, California (USA), on 2 April 1945. Allen M. Sumner was reparied after being hit by kamikazes in Lingayen Gulf, Philippines, on 6 January 1945. She is painted in Camouflage Measure 22. The battleship USS Pennsylvania (BB-38) is visible in the background. She was in the yard for an overhaul.
