Description ARABIAN GULF (Nov. 30, 2013) Quartermaster 3rd class Ryan Burnette (left) from Calhoun, Ga. teaches Quartermaster Seaman Tanner Gemmell from Porterville Calif. how to measure a bearing using a gyro repeater aboard the amphibious assault ship USS Boxer (LHD 4) during an underway replenishment with the Fleet Replenishment Oiler USNS Laramie (T-AO 203). Boxer is the flagship for the Boxer Amphibious Ready Group and, with the embarked 13th Marine Expeditionary Unit, is deployed in support of maritime security operations and theater security cooperation efforts in the U.S. 5th Fleet area of responsibility.
