Description

The U.S. Navy fleet oiler USS Chemung (AO-30) refuels the aircraft carrier USS Philippine Sea (CVS-47) and a destroyer, probably USS Richard B. Anderson (DD-786), in 1958. Philippine Sea was deployed to the Western Pacific from 13 January to 15 July 1958. This was her last deployment before she was decommissioned on 28 December 1958.
