Description
English: The U.S. Navy guided missile cruiser USS Chicago (CG-11) at the Hunters Point Naval Shipyard, San Francisco, California (USA), on 15 April 1964. She was recommissioned on 2 May 1964. Her five-year conversion took 20 months longer than that of USS Columbus (CG-12) and 13 months longer than that of USS Albany (CG-10).
The aircraft carrier USS Coral Sea (CVA-43) is visible behind Chicago. The ship in the left foreround is probably USS Lynde McCormick (DDG-8).
