Two U.S. Navy McDonnell F-4B Phantom II and two LTV A-7B Corsair II from Attack Carrier Air Wing 6 (CVW-6) fly over the aircraft carrier USS Franklin D. Roosevelt (CVA-42) and her escorts, circa 1970.

Aircraft: An F-4B of Fighter Squadron VF-41 Black Aces (in front), two A-7B of Attack Squadron VA-15 Valions, an F-4B of VF-84 Jolly Rogers.
Escorts:Farragut-class guided missile destroyer (DDG, starboard No. 1); Decatur-class DDG (port No.1); Charles F. Adams-class DDG (port No.2, starboard No.2); Barry-class destroyer (port No.3); Knox-class frigate (starboard No.3).
