Description

View of the U.S. Navy aircraft carrier USS Franklin D. Roosevelt (CVA-42) when she was relieved the USS Enterprise (CVAN-65) in the Mediterranean Sea, in March 1963. Note the "Enterprise" in the foreground which was actually an FDR utility boat, converted to the occasion. The crew also made the pennant number "66", visible on the stack.

Original description: "Self-promoted "66" (with "65" alongside)."
