U.S. 5TH FLEET AREA OF RESPONSIBILITY (Feb. 25, 2013) Ensign Bianca Lovdahl uses a Pelorus to find a relative bearing as she stands the conning officer watch on the bridge of the guided-missile destroyer USS Farragut (DDG 99). Farragut is deployed with the John C. Stennis Carrier Strike Group to the U.S. 5th Fleet area of responsibility conducting maritime security operations, theater security cooperation efforts and support missions for Operation Enduring Freedom.
