Description

The U.S. Navy aircraft carrier USS Hancock (CVA-19) in San Francisco Bay, California (USA), upon her return from her 1968-1969 deployment to the Western Pacific, 3 March 1969. The crewmen in formation of "44-69" on the flight deck signify 25 years of service. Hancock, with assigned Attack Carrier Air Wing 21 (CVW-21), was deployed to Vietnam from 18 July 1968 to 3 March 1969.

In the backgound is the Aquatic Park (center) and Fisherman's Wharf (left).
